Marco Simoncelli: Black Horse Honda
No matter senoir or contemporary, no matter compatriots or team-mates, will not preclude a Marco Simoncelli to act and perform dangerous maneuvers. Unfortunately, not always successfully, in addition to endangering other riders were also more often self-defeating.
Season 2010 Black Horse Honda Simoncelli impressed late "hot. " Very late in fact. The new frizzy hair can compete at the forefront in the last two series that take place in Estoril and Valencia circuit. And that's not yet yielded the podium, so that he can not pay my vows to cut hair kribonya which seemed already over.
Yet it did not deter the manufacturer Honda to provide full factory support for him in this 2011 season. Yup, from the beginning it was actually Super Sic rider manufacturer. Italiano it menandatangangani contract with Honda Racing Corporatian (HRC), but left at the Honda Gresini team.
As a manifestation of the seriousness of the HRC to give full support, during a test session at Valencia last November 2010, the 250cc world champion in 2008 it has was asked to test the aerodynamic device specifically for him. Yes, big tall posture that it would require different treatment when compared with Dani Pedrosa are tiny.
But, Simoncelli course should provide feedback in kind to the HRC. Preferential treatment that could be withdrawn if he is still more frequent than gain points DNF. Moreover, the HRC has had three other champion, Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso and Casey Stoner of course. If Simoncelli managed to align themselves with the third rider, or at least could surpass one of them, then there is the possibility in 2012 he no longer had to be a surrogate rider.
Honda So it's time Champion Again

For the first time since the departure of Valentino Rossi, Honda considered to have a squad the best racers. Plus the motor is very competitive, is the moment of the 2011 season in which Honda could return reigned.
The last time Honda sends riders to the podium MotoGP world champion was in 2006 by Nicky Hayden. In the same season Honda also grabbed the constructors' world championship after winning eight victories from 17 series that was held.
But after that Honda no longer able to compete in the struggle for the title. Manufacturers from Japan's even had to accept down to third position, behind Yamaha and Ducati.
But this year, since pre-season testing, the Honda is much promising performance. Plus the drivers are very good squad in Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa, this could be the year where Honda could again be a champion. Thus disclosed mechanical mainstay Valentino Rossi, Jerry Burgess.
"Honda makes major changes, no doubt about that. They've never won it seriously since 2003. I know they won in 2006 but I know the mentality of the people in the Honda and if you do not dominated the race throughout the season then his feelings would be different, "said Burgess.
"They've been trying in recent years, but the biggest hope is to take place this year,"said Burgess at MCN.
Although only two races has elapsed, the Honda performance so far is very satisfactory. Except for the incident that forced Stoner fell in Spain, the team drivers were able to show superiority over its competitors.
"Honda worked well with each other. If one of the drivers underwent a bad day he received information from colleagues who would make him say 'why is my bad day? It must be me and not because the bike'. Casey is clearly the fastest racer," Burgess finished.
Bautista Ready for Comeback in Estoril

The recovery process Alvaro Bautista endured injuries that take place smoothly. Suzuki rider from Spain was ready to re-appear at the Portugal Grand Prix this weekend.
There is no name in the early Bautista MotoGP series this season. Injuries suffered by the Spanish rider kept him out in two earlier series.
Bautista is now ready to return to enliven competition pole. Suzuki rider was declared ready to perform for the Grand Prix of Portugal at Estoril this weekend.
"I've worked very hard to be precise with the time of his comeback race at Estoril and I am sure I can take part in the race later. I understand the process is indeed heavy, but I think I can get back nyetel with the motor and it will help me process the total recovery live and return to normal fitness, "Bautista straightforward as quoted by Autosport.
Bautista underwent three surgeries to restore his femur broke. Currently he has entered the final phase in the rehabilitation phase and begin the preparatory stage of physical condition.
Drivers 26 years, said that he was diving sport swimming, cycling, and also for his physical fitness to regain enough strength to melakoni race.
"The race will be hard but I would really focus in order to spur the GSV-R in Portugal, that's what my main goal at this time. Yes we'll see what kind of development and take a first step today," lugasnya.
If the physical condition of Bautista was not yet ready to perform, then the tester Nobuatsu Aoki Suzuki prepares to go down at Estoril.

New Yamaha Motor Sport YZF-R1 2011
The 2011 R1 … Yamaha's abstruse "Tour de Force."
The R1 has been advised to be the "Ultimate Cornering Master" of the accessible cool action chic and one of the keys to absurd administration lies partly in the anatomy but appropriately as important, in its adeptness to put adapted ability to the ground. This advocate cross-plane crank R1 delivers as abundant ability as the addition wants, absolutely back the addition wants it … by a simple aberration of the appropriate wrist; abrogation the addition activity like they are anon affiliated to the rear caster of the advocate R1.
The Bark is bad. The chaw is badder.
Forget aggregate you anytime knew about the supersport litre class. The all new 2011 Yamaha YZF-R1 is clashing annihilation before. That's because it's the world's aboriginal assembly motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. The result? Incredibly bland ability commitment and abandoned torque for a blitz like you've never experienced.

Motorcycle Stunt Modifications
As motorcycle stunts and tricks have become a popular part of motorcycle culture, some riders have taken to modifying their vehicles to improve their capabilities. These additional parts do not necessarily change the everyday operation of the bike, but can be warning signs of amateur stunt riders. However, if these parts are not installed correctly, they could prove dangerous to everyone on the road.
Among the most popular tricks that many riders may try are the wheelie, the stoppie, and the burnout. These three tricks can then branch out from the basic maneuvers into more extreme, often more dangerous variants done for even greater showmanship and difficulty.
For an example of how motorcycle part modifications evolve, consider a peculiar variant of the wheelie known as the 12 O'Clock, which features the rider propping the bike at an extremely sharp angle. For additional tricks on handle bars, extending the length of a 12 O'Clock is necessary. This in turn leads to increased stunt modifications known as 12 O'Clock bars or, more simply, 12 bars.

2011 Suzuki GSX-R600

The Double Overhead Camshafts (DOHC) are driven by a link-plate chain off a forged crankshaft and open four titanium valves per cylinder through bucket tappets, with shim-under-bucket lash adjustment. The engine is liquid-cooled with Suzuki Ram-Air Direct (SRAD) induction and a digital engine management system. The 2011 Gixxer 600 motorcycle shares the compact and powerful four-cylinder engine design of the GSX-R 750. The GSXR 600 now has a wheelbase that measures 1385 mm.
The power of the new Brembo brakes is really noticeable." The GSX-R600 motorcycle model both features completely new chassis designs, each based on a more compact, lighter twin-spar aluminum frame with a 15 mm shorter wheelbase. I'm looking forward to getting back out on the bike and trying the settings suggested by three times BSB champ John Reynolds." Superbike Magazine editor, Kenny Pryde, got back in from his second session and added: "I've had the 2010 model all year as my long-term test bike, so I was really keen to get out and try the new bike." "Already I can feel more mid-range performance and the chassis is very agile now. Motorcycle News tester, Michael Neeves was quick to share his views on the new Suzuki GSXR 600, commenting: "We've only had a couple of sessions on track but already I can feel the major differences over the old bike." "The motor feels keener with more mid range and the chassis noticeably sharper. With testers from all major European motorcycle publications in attendance, early feedback was extremely positive thanks to ground-up changes on the new Suzuki GSX-R that is aa full 9kg (19.8 lbs) lighter than its predecessor. The European motorcycle press had their first taste of the all-new 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 this week at the Almeria race circuit in Spain - and initial responses are that the sportbike has taken a leap forward in many areas.
2011 Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC
Phew what a day it's been here in Valencia. I arrived at the launch hotel at 3 a.m. and after only a couple of hours sleep it was off to the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia for some brutal action onboard the all new, 160-horsepower Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control).
The Aprilia Tuono V4R is based on the Italian manafucturer's race-breed RSV4 R, but you have with the Tuono is a naked V4 powered "superbike."
This bike is brutal and despite trying to tear my arms off, giving me arm pump and a cramp in my left leg after hard braking this is undoubtedly the new top dog in this class.
The immensely powerful Aprilia V4 just pulls and pulls and this Tuono is something very special. It's definitely not for the faint hearted but with the full APRC package it can be tamed.
The problem is that I didn't want to tame it as I was having so much fun on the circuit using traction control level 1 rather than 6 which is standard set-up.
In the afternoon I tested the naked Aprilia on the roads surrounding Valencia and I've got to say that I prefer this bike on the circuit where you can use all that power.
The V4R is slightly more rev-hungry than it's V90 predecessor, but when the power kicks in it really does kick in big time.
I used more traction control on the road and this added some safety to the ride on roads that sometimes suited the Aprilia Dorsoduro a lot more than the Tuono. But while on the street, comfort isn't necessarily there. The seat is quite hard and not comfortable after a few miles.
As stated before, the Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC is not for the faint hearted; the Tuono is hardcore.

SPRING RIDE WITHOUT LONG SLEEVES
Sunday March 10th was just such a day. I waited for the fog to burn off. I puttered about the house until almost noon, then started the bike and headed for my spring destination: The Snake (US-421). I took a round about way to get there. I live less than 30 miles from this semi-famous motorcycle destination in Shady Valley, TN.
The way I take is SR-37 to US-321 in Hampton TN. US-321 heads up into the mountains and around Lake Watauga. This is a nice little twisty road that eventually leads out of Tennessee and into Western North Carolina.
image caption: Into the mountains
Our winter has been quite wet. It's a rock strewn ride around mud and rock slides as I travel this road.
It's here the road becomes of interest to me! All of a sudden, even though I've traveled this road for almost 5 years, I realize there are some very cool back roads that need exploration. I decide to take one of them as I enter the valley floor near US-421. The road is called "OLD US-421". I decide to take it. How can ya go wrong? It was worth the ride.
image caption: A blast from our past ESSO
Not far into the detour I ride into a small town known as Sugar Grove, NC.
As I'm weaving down the road, I spy an old ESSO gasoline sign! "This is gonna be good!" I think to myself. I was right! Here in little Sugar Grove, across the street from the Library is a little museum. It's known as "D.T. Garage Museum".

Leaving the Garage Museum behind, I travel a few miles down the road to discover these photogenic buildings standing next to a creek whose soft, misty undertones helped produce a hypnotic beauty in my mind. I hoped to capture that same beauty through the lens.
image caption: early 20th century architecture
I barely kicked the bike into 2nd gear after leaving the old buildings, then I came across this old steam engine. I've not a clue what it was once used for. Do you?
image caption: Vestige of a steam engine
I'm a fan of the old style country church. I saw one that caught my eye as I was riding down the road. I decided to snap my camera as I rode. I like the way the tarmac of the road gives way to the speed of the bike while the old church sits center frame in the distance.
All too soon, Old US-421 rejoins the new and "improved" edition of US-421 and I turn my wheel toward the town of Trade TN. Trade sits on the shared state lines of Tennessee and North Carolina. It has a fun festival every year which celebrates the old grist mill that still sits in town. Some time, I'll have to look for the photos I took when I attended with my sister a few years ago.
Just after passing the grist mill is SR-67. I turn right at this road and follow it up into North Carolina again. The road now becomes NC-88. A fine road for photo ops, but I don't stay on it long. I want to get back onto US-421 and head for Shady Valley via Mountain City. I was ready for a few technical twists and turns on US-421 known locally to us bikers as "The Snake".
image caption: the Mountain City side of The Snake.
In one shot I took (on the west side of Shady Valley heading toward Bristol TN.) I stopped to get a few shots. I never noticed my lens took a hit from a juicy bug, but it tends to lend character to the photo.
image caption: Shady Valley
I turned the bike around at South Holston Lake, retracing my ride back to Shady Valley. I didn't stop at the Shady Valley General Store, which is the prime destination for many riders. I came to ride, not socialize. No time for the hundreds of bikers standing around telling war stories. I like to make my stories as I ride, and I'll them to ya here. Much better this way. Don't ya think?
